Okay guys! Listen up, this content that has been in the making since my last post - 4 Must-Haves For Glowing Skin.

This is like an upgraded post, so I'm digging deep on how I achieve a dewy, youthful glow!

I will admit, I have naturally very dewy skin. In the 90's it was all about that matte finish & I felt cursed to have dewy skin. Then, I learned a little about anti-aging & now dewy skin is "the look" so I feel very seasoned on this topic.

First thing, anti-aging.

It's not enough to use a highlighter to have your skin appear dewy. Yes, that's part of it, but keeping your skin SUPER hydrated & using the right products to bring out your natural glow is the first step in maintaining that youthful appearance.

Those with oily skin tend to have fewer wrinkles because their increased sebum acts as a built in moisturizer, which creates the appearance of smoother skin. When skin is dry or dehydrated, any amount of wrinkling or flaws will look more exaggerated.

If you have dry skin, you need extra care and moisture. Take the time to learn about how your skin behaves, so you can give it what it needs.

Some of the products I use have ingredients that enhance that natural dew by creating moisture, while others give a glowing effect. Together it's a win!

Okay, let's get to it!

But first... I never share products I haven't tried & truly believe in. I try A LOT of brands. My apartment is literally overflowing with beauty products, so I've got a lot to compare & I always aim to give you the best tips!

There is one brand in particular that I've been using consistently for over 8 months & it is TO DIE FOR - Erborian.

Among the many Instagram posts, stories & Facebook mentions, I've written about their products, HERE, HERE & HERE.

So, no surprise, I'm going to mention them 4 more times in this post!

I'm naming each item in order of how I apply them to my face.
ysl beauty glow shot
1. YSL Beauty Glow Shot - This product is amazing for many reasons. It contains those reflective properties that bring out your glow with light but it also contains hyaluronic acid to increase hydration. I've talked about hyaluronic acid like 84358934758934 times.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring component in the body. It’s ability to retain high levels of moisture keep the skin looking smooth and plump. It also improves the structure of the skin to keep it looking ageless. It's always something I have on hand.

So, I use it all over! Like, everywhere!

Although, I think many people use it as a highlighter by dabbing it on the cheek bones and nose after makeup has been applied. But I like that shit everywhere. The more glow, the better!

After it's applied, you can visibly see the highlight and the skin looks dewy and plump.

I use this as a primer along with #2!

2. Erborian Glow Creme - This is quite similar to #1 except this has a more pearly glow and has more of a "hologram effect" to blur out imperfections & give a fresh dewy look.

It contains skin brightening agents & antioxidants so I always feel moisturized. Sometimes, I wear these two products on their own if I don't want to do my makeup but I always use them together as primer.
3. Erborian CC Creme - Next, I mix this and #4 together for coverage.

Thanks to Lauren Abramowitz at Park Avenue Skin Solutions & their magic with the Lumecca laser & PRP Treatment, I haven't needed to wear foundation since about the same time I tried these products.

For CC cream & BB cream, they provide more coverage than any other type I've ever used.

The CC Creme works as a color corrector and actually adapts to your skin tone. So, when it first comes out of the bottle, it's a greyish substance that changes color as it touches your skin. This alone is incredible.

The intelligent formula works as a "High Definition" illuminator to improve the appearance of your skin.

4. Erborian BB Creme - As stated above, I mix this together with the CC Creme. The CC does the correcting & illuminating while the BB reduces the appearance of imperfections, blemishes etc.

It has a non-oily, velvety finish & my skin always looks soft & clear. It has more of a matte finish but combined with the 3 products above it evens everything out for a perfect base glow.

All of the products I'm talking about today are AMAZING together but actually work really well on their own if you're in a rush. That's the great thing about illuminating products!
erborian touch pen
5. Erborian Touch Pen Concealer - This. pen. is. life.

I use it to cover any areas that need more coverage - under my eyes and over any blemishes. I also use it as a sort of roadmap to where I want to highlight, as it is great for sculpting. Down the nose, on the upper cheeks etc.
lancome absolute powder
6 & 7. Lancome Absolue Powder - This is numbers 6 & 7 because it's the same exact product, but in two different shades.

This shit is crazy. Like, my description & even photos don't do it justice!

I use shades "Golden" & "Peche".

The Golden is darker and has a more rose tone, where the Peche is really light and pearly. I use them on different areas.

This is a loose powder, composed of soft-focus micro sparkles that I put EVERYWHERE. I put the Golden all over because it matches my skin tone and the Peche on my cheek bones and down my nose.

It is the ultimate finishing touch! I actually wore it alone the other day, which I thought made zero sense because it's 100% sheer and provides no coverage.

Later that day, I was shocked about how my skin looked so clear & even. The reflective sparkles literally gave the appearance of smooth, bright skin. It was trippyyyy.

I hope you guys found this post useful! I really swear by these products. I do add blush, bronzer, lipstick etc. but I always do this as a base & have really found my stride on products to achieve that bombshell glow without going crazy on the highlighters.

I do the same for both day / night & it never fails!
