As you know, I am obsessed with skincare! I have spent SO much money on creams, lotions, washes, you name it. I was looking in my medicine cabinet last night, which is overflowing with products, and I noticed the products I use the most happen to be the least expensive, yet most effective, so I had to share!

1. NOURISH ORGANIC - ARGAN FACE + BODY OIL $19.99 - This is seriously my life saver! I had been using two different creams from day to night as long as I can remember. I could never seem to find the right consistency, plus my skin is dry and oily at the same time. Finding the right moisturizer has been the biggest nightmare. I bought this expensive Lancôme cream with SPF for the day and even a CREAM was leaving my skin dry. I was so annoyed! I went down to my favorite little spot, Lavish Botanicals, for some relief. I told the woman in the store my frustrations and she told me to start using argan oil on my face. My first response was, "There is no way I am putting that on my skin, I'll break out everywhere like a freakin' teenager”. The lady was telling me how much I was going to love it bla bla bla. She insisted that I take home a sample, so I did. At the time I already had two zits on my chin and I was expecting a major flair up. No joke, the next day my skin was flawless! The argan completely evened out my oil/dryness and left my face looking silky smooth. I have been moisturizer free for 2 months and I don't think I'll ever go back.

2. ILLUMASK - ANTI-AGING LIGHT THERAPY MASK $29.99 - WHAT A STEAL! I love this little device more than anything! This mask is amazing for reducing the signs of aging, improving elasticity in the skin and correcting pigmentation problems. I struggle the most with redness and dark spots on my face. This mask has made a huge difference without breaking the bank. It only lasts for 30 sessions but it's way more affordable than the other hand held devices on the market. I started getting dark spots a few years back; I will never forget it. I was in Hawaii and I had spent the entire day in the sun. When I got back to the room I noticed my face looked dirty. I went to my dermatologist when I got home and they told me it was a combination of sun exposure and birth control pills. Of course, they recommended costly laser treatments and creams, none of which helped much. I found this mask about 6 months ago and the results are really amazing. The dark spots have faded and more than anything, my skin appears to be much smoother.

3. GLAMGLOW- EXFOLIATING YOUTH MUD $69.99 50ML / $24 15ML - This mask is everything. I read about it in a magazine a few years ago. They called it something like the 'red carpet ready mask'. Apparently all the celebs were putting it on before a big night and it would completely transform the skin; tightening the pores, smoothing and brightening for a camera ready glow. It completely detoxifies with these really great earthly elements. I tried it before a date once and when I took it off I didn't think too much about it. However, after I applied my makeup my jaw hit the floor. My face was flawless! I don't cake on the makeup or anything but there was a visible difference.

4. DIY TEATREE OIL + EPSOM SALT ASTRINGENT $12.99 / $6.49 / $5.99 - This is my acne fighting life saver right now. So, this is a gross confession but I totally struggle with back breakouts. I have tried EVERYTHING. I even made a point to be super psycho and shower immediately after yoga and nothing helped. My doc said I need to take meds to help but I try not to medicate when I don't have to. Anyway, I decided to make a little homemade astringent and now I use it on my face and back. It works better than anything and it isn't super drying or harsh on the skin. A lot of astringents create drying and ultimately lead to skin damage and wrinkles. This is totally natural and I have seen MAJOR improvement. I haven't had any new breakouts since I've been using this.

I bought some travel bottles at the drug store to pour my concoction into. I added 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt, 10 drops of tea tree oil and then filled the bottle to the top with filtered water. Epsom salt draws out toxins while the tea tree oil kills bacteria. Although tea tree oil is an essential oil it can be drying so it's important to dilute it and not apply it directly to the skin.

I don't even use face wash in the morning anymore, I just apply my astringent to my skin with a cotton ball and follow with the argan oil.

5. BENEFIT BB CREAM $38 - Since my new skin regimen is without SPF I had to find something to protect my face from sun exposure. I randomly had a sample of this BB cream in my bathroom and I decided to take it for a spin. It is a tinted BB cream and does an amazing job of color correcting. It leaves my skin smooth and, unlike other BB creams I've tried, doesn't leave me face feeling dewy. I am going to Mexico tomorrow and I was looking for something that was light and tinted with SPF; this is perfect. I didn't want to be that chick on the beach with 10 pounds of makeup running all over the place, yuck! Best of all, it is SPF 35!

6. EVIAN MINERAL WATER SPRAY $11 - I keep this in my purse at all times and I spray it regularly throughout the day. This is a natural mist of minerals and water. It contains magnesium, calcium and phosphorous which help rejuvenate the skin. It relieves dry, irritated skin caused by high altitude and poor air quality during air travel as well.
